Google rolled out the most awaited device on Wednesday. The new Pixel 8 series smartphones series at its annual ‘Made By Google’ event. This event also witnessed Google’s focus on artificial intelligence as the product features allow integration with the AI, Google Pixel and Pixel 8 Pro. - The latest smartphone from Google, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, are equipped with the new Google Tensor G3 and boast advanced AI capabilities. With the ability to capture astrophotography, the Pixel 8 series is being hailed as the first phone to “truly see in the dark”. Additionally, the phones come with innovative features like car crash detection and a photo unblur feature. The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro also feature upgraded camera systems and editing tools, that take impeccable photo and video quality. These devices are priced at $699 and $899 respectively and they will be available starting on 12 October.
- The Pixel Watch 2 is the latest addition to Google’s wearable technology. Come out with new safety features and sensors, this watch provides deeper insights into your health, including Google’s most accurate heart rate tracking on any tracker or smartwatch. The watch is made with 100% recycled aluminium, making it 10% lighter than its predecessor. The Pixel Watch 2 operates on a quad-core CPU and a low-power co-processor, giving it a battery life of up to 24 hours. Pre-orders are available now in India starting at Rs39,000 with deliveries beginning on 13 October.

According to a statement from a company executive to Reuters, this AI enhancement will empower the virtual assistant to perform tasks such as helping users in itinerary planning for trips or assisting with email management, all while being capable of posing subsequent inquiries to users.
