The information leaked indicates a boxy design with minimal bezels and a hole punch display, continuing the design legacy of the ROG Phone 7 series. The rear showcases a square-shaped camera setup with an RGB-lit ROG logo. These phones are anticipated to come in rebel grey.
Expected to run on Android 14 with ROG UI, the ROG Phone 8 series might feature a 165Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. RAM options range up to 24GB and storage from 256GB to 1TB for the Pro variant.
The Pro model might boast a triple rear camera system, including a 50MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide sensor, a 32MP 3X optical zoom camera, and a 32MP front camera for selfies. These details, alongside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, have been officially confirmed by Asus.
