Paris Fashion Week is always a time of sartorial splendour, and this year was no oddity. Leather was the name of the game, with Hermes leading the charge with their stunning spring/summer 2024 collection under the impeccable eye of creative director Nadege Vanhee-Cybulski. The runway was a gorgeous summer meadow, complete with wildflowers and reeds, where models strutted languidly. The collection’s tonal colours featured burgundy, taupe(Etope grey), Opera Red (scarlet), and Black, all aimed squarely at those who understand luxury with a heightened sense of sophistication and elegance.

You might remember their Oran sandals, which were everywhere this summer, but now they have been given a chic open-toe update that’s sure to become the new must-have. Spotlight on Jewellery, with Hermes pushing the boundaries of what we expect from luxury baubles. Their enamel bracelets have been a huge hit, but their leather-encased structured rings are a fresh and edgy take on necklaces and we can’t get enough. The neckband sits comfortably on the collarbone, with gold hardware adding a touch of bling. Hermes added small chunky hoops in an identical colour to the clothes, with additional circular metal detailing that adds a unique touch of luxury that complete your look.
