Hyundai Motor India: Come With Six Airbags In Its Every Vehicle

Hyundai Motor India on Tuesday stated that every model in the country would now come with six airbags as standard. Also, the automaker announced that it has decided on voluntary participation in the recently introduced Bharat NCAP with 3 models, to begin with, and more models to follow. Car manufacturers under the Bharat NCAP programme can voluntarily offer their vehicles to be tested as per the Automotive Industry Standard (AIS) 197. Based on the car’s performance in the tests, it will be awarded star ratings on a scale of 0-5 for both adult occupants (AOP) and child occupants (COP). This allows potential customers to compare the safety standards of different vehicles and make informed purchase decisions.
